I especially enjoyed when Angelica Bell came out, and when people jumped on their chair as the balloons fell and burst, spilling out all the paper.

Fundraising events

You may not be in a position to make a financial contribution, but still want to help.  How about organising a fundraising event or activity?  It's over to you really, but here are a couple of suggestions...

Sponsored activities

G1-athonChoose something that you can do and people can sponsor you for!

Some members of the Orchestra did a 'Grade-1-a-thon' when they undertook to learn a new instrument and enter themselves for a Grade 1 exam!  Friends were able to sponsor them just to pass, or extra if the pass was with merit or distinction.  They enjoyed the challenge and managed to raise over £2000.
You could do the same? or perhaps a Hymn-a-thon?  or even an old-fashioned sponsored walk or run?

Fundraising Concert

If you or others are musical and would like to put on a small concert in your church, please feel free to donate the proceeds.
If you would like to give your audience a focus for giving, the Prom Praise for Schools fund is always in need of help and many people would like to give to the cause of offering young people such a great experience of music and the gospel.  Drop us a line and we can give you more information to include in the programme.

For any of these activities, we can provide you with logos or background information to use in the publicity.  Just drop us a line to let us know what you are planning.  We would like to include details here for others to enjoy.
