The 2010 Prom Praise concert at the Royal Albert Hall saw an outstanding array of gifted artists leading a capacity audience in raising that famous roof.
Captured here in both audio and DVD formats - available together in an exciting double disc pack with includes an audio CD of the music highlights and a DVD of the full performance (including Hugh Palmer's 'Pause for Thought') - we hope it will be a great momento for those who were there, and an outstanding introduction to the event for others.
There are many highlights - many who were at the event will be keen to re-live the unforgettable performance of the first movement of Grieg's Piano Concerto by extraordinary pianist Grace Yeo; much-loved soprano Joanne Lunn is also at her best in 'Let the bright Seraphim' and extracts from Haydn's 'Creation'; rising gospel singer Beverley Trotman captures hearts with her warmth and enthusiasm in songs including 'Amazing Grace' and 'Feeling Good'. Choir and Orchestra are also on good form in 'The Heavens are telling', and a rousing 'In Christ Alone Overture', and, of course, in inspiring the audience to join in the fun in a range of hymns and songs.
