This outstanding live recording captures all the atmosphere of the 30th Anniversary concert at the Royal Albert Hall in April 2007.
As well as the All Souls Orchestra in full strength and a specially massed gathered choir of nearly 500 voices, the concert featured worship leader Stuart Townend, singer/songwriter Chris Eaton, soprano Heidi Peger, organist Gerard Brooks and speaker Rico Tice.
The Double disc format includes the whole concert, with hymns and worship songs including some led by Stuart Townend. The massed choir are on good form sometimes on their own and sometimes accompanying the soloists.
The All Souls Orchestra, too, are exuberant in some of the great favourites of the concert hall. Then there is a striking pause for thought from speaker Rico Tice.
