Resource Pack

Each school signing up to the project is sent a pp4s pack which contains a variety of useful material, including practical information, suggested lesson plans based on the theme and, above all, the words and music for all the songs in the programme so that the children can be familiar with them and feel able to join in.

Joining the choir

Every participating school also gets the opportunity to audition for the vast gathered choir of over 600 voices which puts in the extra time in advance to rehearse the songs so that at the event they fill the choir stalls behind the Orchestra and take an active part in helping the rest of the audience to join in the songs.

Musicians' visits

They also receive a visit from ASO musicians, who show them their instruments and help to get the children excited about coming to the concert.
