ASO appears on MOBOs!
For 2 seconds!
Yes, don't get too excited, it was a very fleeting moment. Our guest at the May concert, Beverley Trotman was nominated for the Gospel award at the 2010 MOBOs. They asked if they could use a clip from the new DVD to show in when the nominations we announced so you saw 2 seconds worth of ASO as they backed Beverley in 'Amazing Grace'!
Sadly Beverley didn't get the award, but it was good news for her to be recognised at this high profile event. It also provided an unexpected appearance for the ASO!
Exciting news for Langham Arts America
After a long and patient process on behalf of our supporters in America, they have recently been told that they are now a fully approved tax exempt charitable organization under US Law. They are now able to receive and approve the distribution of donations by US citizens. Please pass the good news on to any of your American friends and encourage them to support Langham Arts America. Make contact through this website and we will pass on the details to them.
Urgent need for support team
As you may know the All Souls Orchestra is reliant on the good will of a dedicated team of volunteers who carry equipment, set up the stages and other similar tasks. Due to some recent changes we have an urgent need to recruit new members of this team. We are particularly in need of those able to drive vans at least upto 7.5ton size. Some understanding of orchestras would be great, but is not essential as we can train you on what is needed. The main attributes required are strength, stamina and a willing spirit!
If you or anyone in your church fits that description and might like to help the All Souls Orchestra have a look at the 'Join in (2)' page and use the contact page to get it touch and find out more.
