40TH ANNIVERSARY RECORDING - NOW AVAILABLE!
We cherish many great memories of the evening in April 2012 when we had a special celebration at the Royal Albert Hall to mark 40 years of the All Souls Orchestra.
Noël was touched by the friends who had come from far and wide to be part of the occasion and to honour Noël and the Orchestra - Jonathan Veira, Graham Kendrick and Keith & Kristyn Getty. These joined with an Orchestra over 100-strong, a choir of 500 and a full-house to raise the roof in praise of the God who has guided this ministry through four decades.
We are thrilled that we were able to capture this special event in both audio and DVD formats, available in a pack produced by Integrity (formerly Kingsway).
There are too many highlights to name them all, but many will be keen to re-live pianist Grace Yeo in a movement from Beethoven's 'Emperor' Concerto, or Richard Lennox on the Royal Albert Hall organ in Final in D from Vierne's Symphony; the Massed Prom Praise Choir in Handel's 'Zadok the Priest', Jonathan's powerful version of 'You raise me up' and an intimate moment with Keith & Kristyn's new song 'Still my soul be still' - not forgetting the impassioned outpouring of 5000 in their ever-popular, 'In Christ Alone'. We ended in party mood as balloons fell through Graham's celebratory song 'The Feast is Ready'.
We hope it will be a great momento for those who were there, and also a tool for sharing the experience wider amongst your friends.
