What a huge amount of work it must have been! - but enormously successful in its encouraging of Christian and honouring of God.

Prom Praise at Royal Albert Hall 2013

After celebrating a notable landmark last year the All Souls Orchestra brings
PROM PRAISE with renewed vigour in May 2013 to its spiritual home (in the musical sense) - the iconic Royal Albert Hall.

Presented by the All Souls Orchestra under the energetic and unquenchably dynamic directon of principal conductor, Nol Tredinnick, PROM PRAISE is a joyful fusion of perfomance with worship.  Combining the spirit of 'Songs of Praise' with the style of the world-famous 'Last Night of the Proms', when the whole hall can join choir and orchestra in favourite hymns and worship songs.

PP4S 2013 - choirThis will be our second visit the
Royal Albert Hall this year, as we recently enjoyed Prom Praise for Schools with the schoolchildren of London.  In fact, we enjoyed ours
elves so much that we want to share a little of the experience with everyone else, so we have invited some of the children to come back in May to show us how to do it!  A group from the Prom Praise for Schools Choir will be presenting some of their favourites items - which will include 'Joyful, joyful' with gospel singer Tracey Campbell as well as the opportunity for the whole audience to join in with them - we can promise you this will be an experience not to be missed.

Kathryn Copeland 08

As well as the children, we'll experience some very grown-up singing from international opera singers Kathryn Copeland-Donaldson and Sean Donaldson.  Kathryn was a long standing member of All Souls when she lived in London and we have kept in touch with her as she has developed her opera career - we are looking forward to welcoming her back.

We also look forward to the Massed Choir of singers who are joining us from all around the UK to share in the experience - coming from as far as York, Liverpool, Norwich, Colchester and Brighton.

The evening will be co-hosted by All Souls Rector, Hugh Palmer.
