As excitement builds towards April, we are thrilled to announce great news on the expanding line-up...Nothing could be more appropriate for the marking of the All Souls Orchestra's involvement in music worship over forty years, than the presence of some of the most influential hymn & songwriters over that time.
We all associate the names Kendrick and Getty with some of the most popular worship songs sung in churches around the world today - from 'Shine, Jesus, shine' to 'In Christ Alone' and many, many more. Over the years Noël and the Orchestra have shared the stage with Graham and with
Keith & Kristyn. We are delighted they are coming to the party in April.These world renowned worship-leaders will join equally exciting classical artists, bass Jonathan Veira, pianist Grace Yeo and organist Richard Lennox.
Choirs massing from all parts of the UK have already started rehearsing their contribution, which includes another nod to Her Majesty the Queen's special year with Zadok the Priest.
All Souls Orchestra will celebrate their birthday with some of their favourite composers including Edward Elgar and William Walton. Grace will join them in a movement from Beethoven's 'Emperor' Concerto.
The evening will be co-hosted by All Souls present Rector Hugh Palmer.
