2012 is a special year for All Souls Orchestra as it turns 40! We think the idea that life begins at 40 works for ASO - after 40 years of music ministry the Orchestra is still full of youth, vitality and new ideas.For this Gala Birthday party we are working on a special line-up of guests. On the bill so far are opera singer Jonathan Veira and pianist Grace Yeo ... but we are talking to others so lo
ok out for more news soon.As well as being an internationally renowned opera singer, Jonathan, a long-standing friend of the All Souls Orchestra, is also loved for his clear testimony of faith.
Since Grace Yeo first stunned us all with her extraordinary talent, she has become a firm favourite with Prom Praise audiences around the country and we are thrilled that Grace is able to joins us again this year playing a movement of the stirring 'Emperor' Concerto by Beethoven.
The Massed Prom Praise Choir too will make a great choral contribution to the programme, including Parry's inspiring anthem 'In Tune with Heaven'.
The evening will be co-hosted by All Souls present Rector Hugh Palmer.
