For Christmas Praise 2011 we are joining forces with the team at Methodist Central Hall for a special event on Saturday 10 December 2011.
Over a number of years, we have hired the hall and taken over the building that on a Sunday is home to their congregation. This year we thought it polite to invite them to join the fun! So the Hall's Director of Music, Gerard Brooks (who many will remember formerly as organist at All Souls Church), will feature as organ soloist, and Minister Martin Turner will be the guest speaker.
We are also excited to welcome two great singers onto the bill as well! Over recent years we have got to know and enjoy rising gospel star (and former X-Factor finalist) Beverley Trotman as she has become a great friend of the orchestra - we are looking forward to some Christmas gospel!
During the time we have been sharing a stage with David Erik his career has flourished with a run in the West End and a recent UK tour of Chess.
All these good friends come together with Noel, the
All Souls Orchestra and Christmas Praise Choir.
